Girl of a different Era

Hello my Friends,

Wait, I chopped off my hair and dyed it blonde? Haha, that’s right! Not to be outdone with all the crazy changes of this year, I totally redid my hair!!! I know 15 year old me would be so shocked… lol. But, honestly, I absolutely love my new hair, it just makes me so happy! Turning 21 is a big deal and I really wanted to do something wildly different!!! Also with targeting vintage outfits and a Mid-century lifestyle, getting a literal 1950’s haircut really helps make it all easier and even more authentic!!

A huge thank you to Brooke Moyer, who’s not only my sister, but also, a wonderful hairstylist! Working together we were really able to make this dream come true!!! Without further adieu lets get into the photos!!!

I got to work with Heidi from @joyfulphotographyforJesus https://joyfulphotography.photo.blog! She is such a talented photographer and dear friend!! She drove up early for my birthday party and did a shoot that morning!!!

‘Drama’….This brick alley was the perfect location! I love the darling town of Owego N.Y it is still so historical!!

This one just feels so perfectly ‘old Hollywood!’

The berry fascinator hat is true vintage and the dress I bought from Belle Poque!

We were even invited inside to get some photos in the local wedding dress boutique! There were so many pretty dresses!

As with any new hair style I’ve learned a lot more about styling this look then I knew here but, we grow and learn!

We had to stop in at ‘Fuddy Duddy’s’ old fashioned candy store! (Que dramatic pose next to pretzel shelf lol)

These giant lollipops were definitely tempting!! Would you buy one?

I bought these sandals on sale at the Springfield Mall, probably the most I’ve ever spent on shoes but they are so absolutely perfect!!!

There is just something about wrought iron fences!

Love this walking ‘still’ so much!! The back cape on this dress is just so cute!
