Pleased to meet you. let me introduce myself, I am a Christian teenager named Mindy. I adore Jane Austen, Leo Tolstoy, medieval dresses, Victorian gowns, 1950s scarves, and everything in between. More importantly though, I strive to serve the Lord.

Looking back into history and discovering the people who lived there is a powerful tool to learn more about Him. You see, although I love all those outfits and costumes, there is so much more to the past. History is truly His (God’s) Story. It the story of those who stayed strong in the Lord. It is the story of His followers whether ancient heroes, Victorian women, or soldiers who fought in the great wars. We can find so many treasures buried beneath the dust, dirt, and distaste often given to past.

 I endeavor to fill my blog with the historic resources necessary to nourish every part of us; soul, mind, and body. There will be, sewing, cooking, thought provoking stories, personal observations, and useful advice, all saturated in a proper amount of the past!

Whether you share the love of old things with me or think they are boring I am here to show you that nothing is ‘mundane’ and to spark a growing enjoyment of bygone times.
