This thanksgiving I am sitting at a different table, far from home and my family.
And though it is different and I miss them greatly there is still something we all can do no matter how many miles are between us.
We can stop and thank Jesus for all he has done for us!
-This year I am especially greatful for the friends the Lord has placed in my life! The ones that have stayed close even when miles pulled us apart. For the ones who take time to care and let me know how much they love me!
-I am so thankful for this new journey in Missouri it has been one of the hardest but, also one of the best things that has happened in my life!
-I am greatful for a place to stay, first with a very kind family and now in my very own apartment! I never dreamed I’d have my own place at this age, but it has been a lot of fun!
-I am so very blessed to have the family I am missing today! For all there love and support and just for each and everyone of them! I love you guys!!!
-Most of all I am forever indebted to my Lord and Savior who without, my life would be nothing. Jesus you are the greatest and closest friend I will ever have!!
-And thank you to all the other people who have said a kind word of encouagement, helped pull my car out of the ditch, and just touched my life in meaningful ways!!
It is my hope, dear reader that you will take the time today to count your blessings, and not just today but on every new sunrise the Lord gives us!
