Making an 1860’s petticoat

Hello Friends,

I can’t believe this is my first video tutorial!!!

Today, you all get another video to watch! (I know, I know some of you are now concerned I will never write on this blog again,) Trust me that won’t happen, videos are way too hard to do one every week.

Anyway I hope you all enjoy this tutorial on how I made my civil war era petticoat…..

Enjoy!!!

As always I love to hear what you think, so don’t forget to comment!

God bless you all, and enjoy your Thanksgiving!!!

  1. I know very little about sewing except what my grandmother taught me. She had very little money, and yet was always dressed like royalty. She made a lot of her own clothes especially in the 1950’s and 1960’s and she would often take something like bed sheets and turn them into a masterpiece. All that to say, keep it up! It’s truly impressive and redemptive! Making the common exquisite!
